Emily and John are joined by first time guest (that's what she said) Ryan and regular splice guest host Justin to discuss X-Men Origins - Wolverine. Yes, we spend an hour on one movie. But, it was the only way to truly point out everything that was wrong with this film full with more plot holes than a season of Heroes.

Film Splice - The Bank Job

It's Splice time again, kids. In preparation for this week's episode proper of Cue the Film, the two unstoppable talkers, Emily and Chris combine forces to bring you up to speed on the stylish, exciting and possibly true events of "The Bank Job", still showing on some screens.
Also discussed: plague, military fratricide, fried chicken and the 1666 Great Fire of London - clearly, it's time to let the party begin.

Film Splice: Twenty Four Hour Control

You may be thinking - "Hang on, it's not time for an episode of Cue the Film", and you'd be right.
Welcome to our first Film Splice - a minisode (although, it's not quite as mini as it could be) in which Stephanie and Chris take time out to discuss the two related rock biopics "Control" and "Twenty-Four Hour Party People". Don't expect reviews, just a chat and some fascinating facts and the occasional sidetrack about BBFC movie ratings in Great Britain and films with unsimulated sexual content. As a result, we may be a little more explicit than usual.

Two films, a pair of Tony Wilsons, a brace of Rob Grettons, a couple of Martin Hannetts and even a Gillian Gilbert or two, and finally Sam Riley and Sean Harris as Ian Curtis. Walk in silence.
